This project aims to document the origins of the Vodoun religion (Vaudou in the Fon language) through a journey to Benin. During two trips in June 2022 and January 2023, Nicola Vigilanti visited the Kingdom of Dahomey and then the Kingdom of Sopkonta, the birthplace of Vodoun in north-central Benin. Ce projet propose de documenter les origines du culte Vodoun, (Vaudou en langue Fon), en se rendant en terre béninoise.
